It all boils down to treating an IRD for what it is: a negotiable instrument. Just like your check issuance processes, your IRD processes and systems should match your level of activity and risk. Are you printing forwards and returns or just returns?Large volumes or a handful a day?Will you be printing in an open area or within a well-secured room? Answering these basic questions will help you determine how simple or complex your IRD print environment should be.
