I'm in product management but I am also a lawyer (so I am required to take continuing legal education courses). Are there qualifying CLE courses in compliance available? Who provides them? How do I sign up?

I know from personal experience that the ABA applies for, and obtains, CLE credit each year for the National Regulatory Compliance Conference, which is held in June. It's like icing on the cake of a very fine educational program to get CLE credit, too!

I also know you can get CLE credit for the ABA/ABA Anti-Money Laundering Enforcement seminar held each year. It is jointly sponsored by the American Bankers Association and the American Bar Association.

You might also check your state banking association. I know the SC Bankers Association puts on an annual Bank Attorney's seminar that qualifies for CLE.
