Consolidation Loan for Medical Bills

Answered by:

Question:
When doing a consolidation loan for medical bills, is it acceptable for the bank to require statements of bills or is this violation of privacy?
Answer:

You are allowed to verify these debts just like you would any other debts. This is NOT a Privacy or FACT Act (Medical Information) issue.
