Does A Revocable Trust Override A Will?

Answered by:

Question:
Does a bank revocable trust account override a will?
Answer:

In general, assets held by the trust at the time of death are not part of the decedent's estate, and therefore any provision of the decedent's will purporting to bequeath any of those assets would be ineffective.
