Error claims on Remittance Transfers

5. Who must notify the provider of remittance transfer services of a problem with a transfer to trigger the error resolution requirements of subpart B?
Answer: 

The notice must be given by the sending consumer. The requirements are not triggered by a notice from the recipient or when the provider itself discovers and corrects an error.
