Answer:
As this is answered the December figures are not in, but with the total penalties at $3 million this is the third highest year since 2005 when I started following them. The FDIC consistently imposes the largest number, but don’t get caught by any of the other agencies either because that’s where the big bucks are charged. This year it was the FRB with the largest amount.
