Flood notice requirement

We are taking a non-residential property as collateral for a commercial loan. Do we need to give a flood notification if the property is in a Special Flood Hazard Area?

Answer:

Yes. A flood notice is required any time a property is located in a Special Flood Hazard Area. It does not matter if the property is residential, non-residential, consumer or commercial.
