We would like to do a marketing campaign, potentially including both customers and non-customers, offering a gift certificate to a local restaurant if they call or come in for a financial check-up. Is this acceptable?

Any such requirements or prohibitions would be a State law issue. "Financial check-up" is a pretty broad statement and I hope your check-ups are performed by certified financial planners.

I agree....would be a stronger pull if you could be more specific about 'what's in it (or could be) for customer/prospect" Do you have any case history or examples?
