Guardian Add joint/Authorized Signers-Court Order?

Answered by:

Question:
May the Guardian of an account add joint and/or authorized signers to a guardian account without a court order?
Answer:

No. The guardian's authority is limited to what is granted by the court. Unless prior documents granted such authority, a guardian cannot transfer their fiduciary responsibility to another person in the form of an authorized signer, nor can they alter the ownership structure of the ward's assets.
