A good answer isn't always easy. Most people like to be in charge of their destination and the means to get there. The best analogy I've heard is this."Outsourcing is like being on a bus. The destination is pre-planned and if I see something along the way that I like and think meets my customer's needs better, the bus still keeps going and stops at the pre-planned sites. If I'm driving my own car and I see something that best fits my customers and meets my bank needs, I can pull in, take a look, and acquire that solution if need be."With all the changes going on in the industry, the increasing competitiveness of bank and non-bank businesses, maybe you're better off being in charge of your destination!
