Investment as an Occupancy Type for HMDA

Answered by:

Question:
Is the investment occupancy category only used for true rental properties?
Answer:

Investment is used whenever the occupancy is not a primary or secondary residence. It is important to understand what is a second residence and what is an investment property, and how those two differ from Regulation Z.
