Keeping the CRA File Up-to-Date

Answered by:

Question:
We are updating our CRA file. In the area of products and services, we have discontinued a few of our checking accounts. The customers who had one of the accounts that we discontinued were grandfathered and still maintain the account type even though we no longer offer it to customers. In the products and services section of the file, are we required to have information on the discontinued products even though we no longer offer them? Even though we don't offer them anymore they are still a product that we service so we are not sure whether or not to include them in the CRA file.
Answer:

I would not list products you no longer offer to new customers in your CRA Public File.
