Merchant Continues to Debit Customer's Account

If a customer uses his or her MasterCard debit card over the internet to make a purchase of services and then notifies the company to cancel their services, but they continue to debit the customer’s account how should this be handled? What Reg would this fall under?
Answer: 

If the customer is a consumer, it's a Regulation E matter. The consumer, if he has notified the merchant in writing, can make an unauthorized EFT claim. He can also require that you, the card issuer, block future debits. You may have to use the card association's services to accomplish that.
