Only if they are also Mortgage Loan Originators (MLO). The two terms (MLO and LO) are not synonymous. They have different purposes, coverages and tests, and care must be taken not to mix them up! An employee can be one or the other, both, or neither one, depending on their activities (not their job descriptions).
