Must a loan officer sign an application that has been submitted on line and is filed as incomplete?

Answer:

There are no regulatory requirements for any application to be signed by a loan officer, unless it is addressed within State law and I am not aware of any such State requirements. Requiring loan officers to sign applications would be a matter of bank policy or possibly investor requirements.
