Perform a night inspection of one branch listing everything that was wrong with it noticeable after dark. Take pictures of items that can only be noticed to be wrong after dark. Be sure to take pictures of your facilities at night with blown lights or the location if all the lights are off. Show these pictures to management illustrating the point that your institution loses fee income when a noncustomer uses your competitors ATM because they are afraid to use yours! A night inspection program ensures that your institution is safe for people to use after your staff goes home. If someone is hurt or mugged on your property this information will most likely be subpoenaed by opposing counsel. The bank may have to explain the failure to have a night inspection program
