Given the small number of customers who might even have an interest in purchasing traveler's checks (that fact likely entered into your decision not to offer them any longer), I think it's unreasonable to bother notifying all your customers of the fact you don't sell them any more. I'd just make sure that your staff has some suggestions for alternatives if one of your customers does ask for traveler's checks.
