Notification for Address Change (NCOA)

Answered by:

Question:
If we update a customer's information (address) based on information they provided to the US Postal Service via the National Change of Address (NCOA) link, are we required to notify them of the change?
Answer:

Most banks to not do this and require direct contact from the customer for any change of address. Anyone (including identity thieves) can file a change of address form at the post office or on-line.
