Question: 
The marketing department at my bank is currently moving and with that would like to purge a lot of documents. I know there is guidence relating to record retention for regulatory items, but how long should marketing materials be kept? Any guidance for bank marketing materials?

Answer: Separate from advertisements under "Z" and "DD", I would consider holding them from one exam to the next.

I agree with this answer. There is no specific law or regulation that would require you to keep marketing materials.
