Torn Bill w/ One Set of Serial Numbers-Replace?

If a customer brings in a torn bill but they have a little more than half with one set of the serial numbers can we give them another bill?

There are specific instructions from the Federal Reserve on worn and otherwise cruddy looking currency as long as it's at least half a bill and doesn't need special examination for value. Read about it HERE.

You can replace the torn bill with a complete bill and ship the torn one with other currency in a cash shipment.
