Using Previously Pulled Credit Report - Disclose?

Answered by:

Question:
Is a credit score disclosure required where no new credit report is pulled, but the lender is relying on a previous report containing scores already in the file (and for which a credit score was previously given)?
Answer:

If you're referring to the FACT Act's Notice to Home Loan Applicants, the answer is yes. There's no exemption for a previously pulled credit report.
