What to do when an older mobile home is a principal dwelling

Question:
We still make loans secured by older mobile homes that are used a principal residences. Should we report for HMDA if the home is a principal residence?
Answer:

No, mobile homes built prior to June 15, 1976 will no longer be dwellings for HMDA as of January 1, 2018. They will still be dwellings for Regulation B and demographic data will be collected in covered situations.
