Have a CTR with 3 persons as benefactors, so I check multiple persons box. One of these persons was transactor, if I choose her, our system will not will not print her info in any of the 3 section B's, so it is blank. Should I check conducted on own behalf. Thanks.

Here is my scenario, individual bring in deposit for multiple businesses each with their own EIN# (small town)and also makes a deposit into their personal account. Should the transactor be listed under section A, or section B with conducted on own behalf marked?

Easiest way to complete the CTR is to show transactor in Part 1 Section A and check box e in Section B (so you don't have to repeat the transactor's information. The joint account holder and the businesses would be shown on additional pages as Part 1 Section A.

Thank you, that's what I thought but I just don't see that type of activity very often so I was doubting myself.

Rae - I am surprised that you don't see multiple benefactors on a fairly regular basis since a reportable cash deposit to an account with multiple owners benefits all account owners. Are you sure your reporting system is operating properly?

I must not have made myself clear, what I don't see on a regular basis is an employee for these companies also making a cash deposit into their personal account on company time. She brings in the deposits for 3 businesses and she is usually just doing those business transactions.
