how can I get that sexy big hair that DQ has?

Three cans of AquaNet, one brush, two picks, two blowdryers (one of which is wall mounted) and a fire extinguisher (just in case). Start with clean dry hair and spray on .5 can of hairspray with your head hanging forward so you can get body from underneath, while blow drying to create foundation for up-do. Next, spray remainder of can while head is in an upright position and blow dry during that process. Back comb to add volume while spraying .25 of next can of hair spray. Blow dry until set. Use one pick to fluff up left side of hair and leave in place while another .25 can is used to freeze in place. Use other pick to fluff out right side of head and repeat with another .25 can of hairspray. After hair is dry, finish off final .25 can of spray. Remove picks from hair. Finish the look off with final can of AquaNet to ensure hair does not move while riding the back of BF's motorcycle. Wrap in toilet paper to hold shape when sleeping, or learn to sleep upright.
