That's an evil way to start out a Monday morning missie! You're dang lucky the flower delivery came at the same time or I'd be sending you an evil PM with my dismal score at the bottom!

Good thing I remember my math. Aced it. But I know for a fact that I did not learn all of that by 8th grade. I think a lot was in 10th and 11th.

Wow, this actually made my day - I got 10/10! (Thank heavens -- I'm so anal that I would have spent the rest of the day trying to figure out what I'd done wrong on incorrect ones!)

MacKenzie, you didn't tell us your score. I got 7/10, nothing to brag about. It's amazing how much I've forgotten because I don't use it anymore. I know I learned some of that stuff, where did it go?

Ok - I got a 9/10 but still tells me "Time to Hit the Books" - I screwed up the "congruent angel" - I had forgotten that there was such a word as congruent in Math!

Okay, maybe I didn't do as hot as the rest of you, but I did remember what a "congruent angle" was! I sucked, (oops! Can I say that on BOL?) I got 5/5. I hated math in school, I admit I am not a math guru....no new Math Forums are allowed. If you want to calculate a Finance Charge and assure that your daily periodic interest is correct, then we will talk, but none of this "what degree is the corner of a triangle stuff!".

I got a 10/10. I would hope so, I think I was in 8th grade most recently.

I probably would have forgot everything, except for my boss here at the bank was taking a calculus class to get his masters and had me tutor. I'm a nerd and a kiss-up.

10 out of 10! BUT, I will say that I don't remember much of that stuff from middle school, much of that I learned in Geometry when I was a sophomore, but I am a numbers/stats nerd.

Mackenzie...you scored higher than me, but I took the easy road and guessed It's too early on a Monday to really try.

My sweetie just took it. He scored an 11 (his story not mine) Heh Heh, he scored a 10 and took about as long to do the test as I did to guess it. Damn chemical engineer brain!

This is totally screwing with my claim to have only an 8th grade education. Apparently I need to cut that down to 7th....

7/10 not bad considering my algebra teacher (looooong ago) was a coach. Thank you to my geometry teacher who had the patience to back up. Oh, and it was Illinois

Okay, so I scored a 9/10, which COMPLETELY surprises me. I'll admit to using my calculator, but that is because I am suffering from brain freeze (see post under Ice Cream topic)! I just cannot believe I remember any of this stuff, that, by the way, I have NOT used since high school, even though Mr. Marsh SWORE I would need every day of my life!

Where the heart is
Okay - I got 9 out of 10. I'll fess up to using a calculator, and looking up the definition of a congruent angle (wanted to make sure I wasn't confusing it with a comlimentary angle!), and also using a square root calculator.

I DID remember the sum of the square of the hypotenuse thing, but only because of a math joke that my brother told me back in 6th grade. Yeah, the bro that made the potato radio! Unfortunately, it is no longer politically correct to tell the joke! And I no longer readily remember how to calculate square roots. That why we have Texas Instruments! (Or a slide ruler....)

And for the record, do NOT hire me to install indoor/outdoor carpeting! I usually wind up doubling up on the stuff anyways. (Seems for that question I forgot about the son of the Native American woman sitting on the hide of a "river horse.")

(Ah - the uses for indoor/outdoor carpeting - it rivals that of duct tape!)

OK, lets put away the school work and exercise those brains by doing some manual APR and APY calculations. Something usable.
