I have read 226.5b and the commentary and state statute but I still have a question about a late fee on a HELOC. Is there a limit to the amount of a late fee? Is there another part of Reg Z that limits the actual dollar amount of the late fee?

Any limitation on a late fee on a HELOC will be governed by state law. In IN the maximum late fee you could assess would be $17.50.
