Ohio law 4112.021 requires that there be a notice on all applications for credit, see below for exact verbiage: Notice to Ohio Applicants: The Ohio law against discrimination requires that all creditors make credit equally available to all creditworthy customers, and that credit reporting agencies maintain separate credit histories on each individual upon request. The Ohio Civil Rights Commission administers compliance with this law.
We use a paperless loan application process, where the application is input onto the computer by the loan officer. The programmers want to make this a "pop-up" that is read to the customer during the application process, then acknowledged with a "click of OK" that this was read to the customer by the bank employee taking the application.
Does anyone know if this satisfy Ohio's requirement for " in a type size no smaller than that used throughout most of the application form,..." since we use a paperless application process?
