We are going to provide a banking services at a local nursing home. We will occupy an office at their facility one day a week and will transport cash to this location.
Does anyone have any suggestions for security for this type of situation?

You didn't mention whether you have received regulatory approval for this location, it sure sounds like you do, whether state or federal chartered. On the security issue, you should consider an armed guard for the safety of the residents as well as the employees.

Yes, this type of arrangement does require regulatory approval and we did go through the process of getting an approval for a branch in order to do this.

Depending on the amount of cash proposed, would it be cheaper to put a safe there and leave a nominal amount secured? If you anticipate having to resupply it regularly than the armed guard is the way to go for the safety of the employee(s) and security of the money.

If you use a service to resupply your ATMs, could this be added to the route, again with use of a safe. That allows the employee to leave bagged funds to be collected and a specified amount scheduled to be dropped off. This makes the scheduling easier and everything is ready for the next opening.
