Tonight left me disappointed.

Anoop - TERRIBLE song choice. Perhaps a bunch of young teens might like it, but it was lost on the majority of people who watch the show. And he didn't do a good job of it and showcase his vocal talent OR move around the stage very well.

Meghan Joy - This girl needs a choreography lesson, and someone else to pick her songs for her. That being said, I did enjoy it, mostly because I like the unique tone of her voice.

Danny - He has such personality, and a giant heart. He brought tears to my eyes because I could feel the love he has for his wife in my heart when I listened to him sing.

Allison - Gwen should be added to the list of peoples songs you don't try to cover. Sorry, Allison, but it didn't work.

Scott - Better than before, but despite the judges praise, I just didn't feel it. The end was messy, and while he sounded good at the beginning, he didn't insert any of himself into the song, he just sang it. It's time for him to be heading home.

Matt - This was bad, really bad. He deserves to be in the bottom three this week, and I can only hope that his fans wake up and vote for him despite his pathetic performance after the scare last week, because I really do like him. Just not this week.

Lil - Not bad, but she's no Celine. The song was too big for her.

Adam - I am so sick of his "rocker" screaming. Bleh!

Kris - LOVED IT! He reinvented the song, again, and I believe he could go all the way to the finals.

Bottom 3: Meghan, Anoop, and Lil

Going home: Anoop (victim of the curse of the 1st)

Contenders: Kris and Danny

And did you hear that Dannys Grandfather passed this weekend and he went home for the funeral like 2 days ago... That is so sad, and so much loss for one man to handle...

For the very first time, I actually REALLY liked Kris. What Paula said (I think she said it..) was spot on for once. I felt like I was listening to that song for the first time.

Hoping it's bye bye Anoop. Sorry.. that was lame, and I've felt that way ever since the 2nd week. BLEH.

BF, I pretty much agree with everything you said.

Lil's mouth is too big.

I also loved Kris--probably my favorite of the night. I thought Adam and Danny were also great.

Scott was "good" for him, but that is my favorite Billy Joel song and I didn't really like what he did with it. His days should still be numbered--he was better, but not good enough.

Allison and Matt were both very disappointing to me, especially Matt.

I wish that Megan would be the one to go, but she may survive. I think we may say goodbye to Anoop tonight.

Meghan Joy - This girl needs a choreography lesson, and someone else to pick her songs for her. That being said, I did enjoy it, mostly because I like the unique tone of her voice. Agreed! I liked it more than the judges did.

Danny - He has such personality, and a giant heart. He brought tears to my eyes because I could feel the love he has for his wife in my heart when I listened to him sing. Agreed! Except for all that sappy cr@p you wrote about his wife and it bringing tears to your eyes. He did a great job though!... laugh

Allison - Gwen should be added to the list of peoples songs you don't try to cover. Sorry, Allison, but it didn't work. I kind of liked the rocker thing. She has the voice for it.

Scott - Better than before, but despite the judges praise, I just didn't feel it. The end was messy, and while he sounded good at the beginning, he didn't insert any of himself into the song, he just sang it. It's time for him to be heading home. Agreed!

Just not this week. It was okay. I don't think it was as bad as the judges said.

Lil - Not bad, but she's no Celine. The song was too big for her. I think Lil did great. I say she was in the top 4.

Adam - I am so sick of his "rocker" screaming. Bleh! I think this guy is awesome! He should have already been discovered.

Kris - LOVED IT! He reinvented the song, again, and I believe he could go all the way to the finals. Agreed! One of the best of the night!

Bottom 3: Meghan, Anoop, and LilScott (although he won't be)

Going home: Anoop (victim of the curse of the 1stcause he sucked)Agreed.

Contenders: Kris and Danny and Adam

Anoop = Agree with what has been said. He is just too nerdy for me. I think someone said last night it was like he was put up to this by some frat buddies. He is still too nerdy for my taste.

Megan = like I have said before, no matter what she sings it sounds the same, it is just the way she is. But I love her smile, it is so infectous, no matter what she sings she makes you feel good.

Danny = didn't get to hear too much of his song last night (someone called so i had to turn the TV down mad)but what I did hear, was pretty good.

Allison = what's the big deal about her outfit. She is young and fun loving, and can sing anything. I wish she would have lost the guitar and moved around the stage more.

Scott = new hair same cruddy voice. PLEASE send him home.

Matt = Disaapointing, he is better than wahat he did last night, hope he survices to move on.

Lil = I thought it started out kind of nasally, but finished strong.

Adam = He is such a performer, still can't belive he hasn't been discovered before this. He knows how to work the stage. I can do without the "rocker scream", but he is good.

Kris = WOW! he is really growing on me. He is a contender now in my mind.

Bottom three = Scott, Matt, Anoopy (PLEASE send Scott home)

For real?

Did you see what he did with that song? Even if you don't like him vocally, he belongs in the music industry.

I can see him producing.

He didn't do anything with that song except scream it in his broadway rocker voice at moments. Sorry, he's not that good.

Okay, forget vocals, I get it. You don't like his singing.

But listen to his version and the original. He did a lot with the music/arrangement to that song. A heck of a lot!

Her girls looked a little squished yesterday! eek

He reminds me of the 'assistant' guy from Van Wilder.

I'm glad Megan went home--she has been one of my least favorites from the beginning.

I was surprised to see Allison in the bottom 3 again. Her fans need to kick it in gear--she is definitely one of the better singers remaining.

I loved seeing David Cook and seeing him get his platinum record. Good for him! What a nice guy--it doesn't seem that "fame" has changed him much so far.

I was suprised to see Allison in the bottom three again. Come on America, vote for the girl. I liked seeing them joke with each other last night. They do seem to be having a good time.

I think Megan knew she was going home, she was so much the good sport about it. It was almost too happy.

I didn't understand the "Bird" dance/call they were doing.

Lady GAGA or whatever she was, had to be the biggest joke in the world. These guys have to be thinking, I am WAY better than her. Our house was kind of dumb struck after seeing that "performance".

I think she was happy about going home because she missed her kid.

I was confused about the whole bird thing too.

And the Lady Gaga persona is exactly that. She's known for being the weird popstar (who never wears pants)....

That goes back to her "Rockin' Robin" performance when she did the CaKaw at the end. It was so goofy and stupid that they make fun of her over it, and she makes fun of herself over it.

I'll miss Meghan Joy, but at least she made the tour, and we'll see someone pick songs for her and make an album in a couple years.
