I just got in on the thread so this may have been addressed...what did Lil say back to Simon last night after his comments on her? Usuallly that will send them home quickly.

EdAudit, I think it was just that they wanted to use the "save" and only had two weeks left to do so. I think they would have saved anyone going home last night except Anoop.

Ed, this is the first time the entire crowd has chanted SAVE in order to try to convince the judges to use the save. Matt is quite popular.

I'm pretty sure if Lil was the one going home, the judges would not have saved her. They DO NOT have to use the save.

Matt deserves to be there. Can't wait to see what songs they will be singing-

I though that they should have saved if they were to use a save Alexis Grace. The crowd was yelling save at that time and she was a better singer.

Yes, it did. It's one of the best songs of the last five years, in my opinion. The movie has a great scene where the song is written.

Someone who listens to the judges and tries to make the song her own. Her mistake, probably a fatal one, was not doing the entire song like that and reverting to the coma inducing Bette Midler version. Just MHO.

I totally agree, she is the only one so far that would have been worth saving. I think they didn't want to use it that early. But at least they send two home this week and hopefully it will be Lil and Anoop.

Kris was just awesome last night--my favorite of the night. I really enjoyed Adam and Danny. Matt was okay. I hated the slowed down arrangement of Allison's song but I think she should stay. Anoop failed to impress me. Everyone talked about how Scott could only sing ballads--to me, Anoop is the same way. Lil was by far the worst of the night, to me, and I hope she goes home.

I missed last night. What did everyone sing and did they sing it in a "Disco" format?

Allison- Didn't like her arrangement of the song but I think she should stay.
