what other options does Paula have?
singing?
dancing?
being the before example in an ad about the effects of drug use? Dancing is the answer, although more in the roll of a choreographer than a dancer. She is highly respected in the field, despite her appearances on Idol.

He has said that he is tired of the travel and he would most likly drop american idol cause it would be the most logical show to drop from his schedule.

MaxXx, I read that too about Simon thinking about leaving. I would think Idol would offer him ridiculous sums of money to stay. The show would lose A LOT if they lost him. He is great in the early rounds when all the terrible people are on, and he is great once they get to the real contenders, because he can offer concise, realistic feedback. He would be very hard to replace. . .and if they think Kara even comes close, they are nuts!

Should be interesting to see what he does with the arrangement no matter what he sings.

Music from the Rat Pack era. Oh great. Another reason to skip tonight's show. These themes are really getting lame. Not that I think vocal standards are bad, they're not, they're great. But they don't lend themselves well to pop treatments. I will barf if someone does "Fly Me to the Moon," or "I Left My Heart in San Francisco." But if someone is brave enough to do a Bossa Nova song, it might be interesting. For example, Besame Mucho or Desifinado.

Too bad we lost Anoop before this week. I can see him doing a really nice job with Sway. Or Anoop could have covered Jack Webb's version of "Try a Little Tenderness," or William Shatner's "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." Maybe someone could cover Leonard Nimoy's version of "Bilbo Baggins!"
