Do you all use both when classifying your customers or do you just use one or the other. We use both and it is very difficult to find a consistency with them. We first use the SIC code up to the sub code and then pick up with the NAICS Sector it is at this point that we have two very different types of businesses when you are done. Please let me know what you do.

It is my understanding that the SIC system was replaced by NAICS in 1997 and they are no longer updating/revising the SIC system. For this reason we replaced all SIC codes we had on our system with NAICS codes.
