We had a customer present an AZ DL with an expiration date of 2023. I've never seen a DL with a 20 year lifespan. Can someone confirm this for me? The AZ DMV site didn't have any information about expiration dates.

I am not from Arizona, but the I.D. Checking Guide (for Arizona) states:

License term: Valid until age 65 (formerly 60); then 5 years, expiring on birthday. A 6 month extension available if out of state for more than 30 days. Photo update is required every 12 years.

One of the valid driver's license sample in the book shows an issue date of 02/01/2001 with an expiration date of 01/01/2046.
