In Florida, a limited partnership must register with the state. A general partnership is allowed to register with the state. So, if you don't find a general partnership on Sunbiz, don't draw any immediate conclusions regarding the validity of the business.

I just found out that our couier service did not even have a lics with the state of florida .. boy did sunbiz save our bank of any problems that could have occured we decided to dump this company very fast ,,, Commercial express inc..
