I am working on a large bank CRA presentation for committee. Our bank will be a large bank in January 2005.
I worked for a large bank before but am a little rusty. I need help with 228.42(b) (3) Home mortgage loans. "If the bank is subject to reporting under part 203" (isn't this HMDA?)..."location of each home mortgage loan appl, origination, or purchase outside the MSAs in which the bank has a home or branch office in accordance with the requirements of part 203 of this chapter"
What in the heck is this saying? Any help is appreciated!

If you are a HMDA reporter, you have the March 1 deadline under CRA as well, to submit your report.

203.4(e) also states that as a HMDA/CRA reporter, loans outside your MSA must be geocoded. Otherwise, you only have to code those in your areas. CRA wants to know the ins and outs.

So we ARE a HMDA reporter and we do report all HMDA reportable loans whether inside or outside our area. So there's nothing special this will have me to do?

Nothing extra. This is an easy one.
