If I want to do a reverse lookup on a bank using the ABA routing number, how do I do this?

If the bank participates in Fed Wire, go HERE. You can key in the FRDABA number and get the bank name and location.

John,
Thanks! Helpful site. I just found out that we also have ABA routing number directories at the bank which proved to solve my problem too.

FRB advised us to use the same site John suggested, but to search for ACH participants instead, because more banks participate in ACH than Fed wire. You might have to start back at the main page to get to this search.

Well, that's a poser. It would seem to be somewhere in Illinois, but I can't find anything to attest to its existence. Could be one of those funky non-published government R/Ts.

We had this in another thread. I think the original question was "how do I do this" which is much better than asking others to look things up for you. That would be better done in PMs, for which you'll need to register.

Andy has said it more patiently and smoothly than I will. Please read the information above and go to the web site suggested to find these bank names. Don't post an ABA number here in the hope that someone will do the work for you. We will remove those posts when we find them.
