We're driving to Arkansas (Greenbrier) to see my niece graduate from HS. I think Greenbrier is just north of Little Rock. We'll be driving west on I-40 from OKC area....any recommendations on things to see while I'm in the area? We'll have a 5 year old with us smile Thanks for any suggestions!

If you drive west on I-40 from OKC, you'll hit the Pacific before you get to Little Rock. Sorry, IR Kidding U a bit.

I don't know what it is about Arkansas but I always feel dirty when I go there. It's a beautiful state and very clean but I just always feel weird when I'm there.

Was this after you were in the woods during a canoe trip and met up with some banjo drumming boys... whistle

You could visit the Bill Clinton Presidential Trailer on the banks of the Arkansas River in Little Rock.

Or, if you have more time, and less psychosis, drive north a bit and visit some of northern Arkansas' outstanding lakes. I'm sure anyone in that part of the state could recommend their favorite - there are several.

Running and riding everywhere ...
The lakes north of I-40 are beautiful. I like Beaver Lake. Eureka Springs and Hot Springs are both close, depending on how much time you have. There are many things to see and do in both towns. There are parks, trails, museums, etc.

The only thing I can see along that route is to keep driving to Memphis or New Orleans!
