Some of our customers are recieving emails and texts stating that they need to contact Bank of ###### (another local bank) to update account information or their account will be blocked. We checked with the other bank and this is some sort of scam. I'm thinking no SAR filing? I feel this will just pollute the system. No $$ amounts are lost, no idenity has been obtained (to our Knowledge) and no suspect has been identified.

I dont think I would file a SAR because of what you stated but there is an internet address for the Internet Crime Complaint Center that you can report these types of transactions to. Website address is below.
