We have the following differences on our final HUD:

government recording GFE 78.00 vs. HUD 105.00
appraisal fee GFE 350.00 vs. HUD 400.00

So we are off $87 at 17.17%

What do we do to fix it?

You apply the 7.17% as a cure on page 1 of the HUD. There's instructions in the FAQ showing how to do it.

I noticed a couple corrections that needed to be made, so now I am at 10.384615384615385%

If you round, it is exactly 10%.

So we're good, right?

What does the FAQ say about rounding? I don't remember so you'll have to check.

We just decided to pick up $20 of the appraisal fee.

The conversation with the lender went well. LOL!
