The Grasshopper was 9 1/2 pounds. Thank god for C-sections.

Had a 7 pound 2 ouncer and a 7 pound 15 ouncer. Had an easier time with the last one than the first. But man! You should have seen the ears on the first. Had I known they were that big, woulda told the doctor to reach for those to pull him out.

She had him naturally, maybe that's why he looked so huge, that and I immediately compared him to my kids.
My 4lb baby was the worst, but I was induced 8 weeks early so my body wasn't ready. I think 6lbs is pretty normal for around here. When I had my premi, I shared a room with a woman who had given birth to a small toddler, he was almost too big for the push cart thing they keep the babies in. Biggest newborn I'd ever seen, don't remember how much he weighed though.

FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line

Well, I get to sit in the stadium and shiver tonight - last football game of the season - unless we make regionals and I can never keep up with where we are on that. How about a Hot Chocolate with peppermint schnapps? That ought to make it bearable. Although I wouldn't mind some of Ops' snow flurries down here tonight!
We're in the 30's at night 60's during the day this weekend. We'll see how long it lasts.
I thought this was the "FALL BACK" bar. don't forget to set your clocks back an hour and enjoy that extra hours' sleep.

How do you figure an extra hour's sleep? That always gets me...it's the same 24 hours in a day, right? They just mess with our CLOCKS! I HATE IT!
My kid was 8 5-1/2, but was 20.5 inches long..almost identical (and he was a au naturale!) AND, was signed on to LHS football the day he was born! LOL!

I was a huge baby. That's probably why momma left me to be raised by apes.

If you set your clock back one hour as you're going to bed, its now an hour earlier. The time keepers are probably thinking we will all automatically sleep longer in the morning and thereby receive our extra hour's sleep. It takes about 2 weeks for my internal clock to reset.

I wasn't able to accept everything from my ape background.
It was a toss up between eating vegetables and throwing poo.
Let's just say I don't like vegetables.

All my kids were little furry anorexic monkey babies... I always wanted a rolly polly baby, ---sigh---
How the carp did my cup get empty? Can I get another bloody mary and a bud light please?

I think my mom compared giving birth to me as being what it must be like giving birth to a 12 pound brillo pad.
