RR Sarah Power Poster Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 2,514 Up North	If I could ask you all for your prayers and good thoughts for my co-worker who also is my friend. They found a spot on her ovary and the doctors believe it is cancer. She is meeting with the surgeon on Wednesday. She is only 44. Thank you. _________________________ Sometimes you have to burn a few bridges to keep the crazies from following you.

If it is cancer, but is just a 'spot' it sounds like they found it early, which usually doesn't happen with ovarian cancer. RR Sarah Power Poster Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 2,514 Up North	I received a text message from her a few minutes ago. It said, "surgery Monday" so I'm not sure if it is for biopsy or what? Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. She is, understandably, very upset and scared. I believe they are talking ovarian cancer so I am praying very hard that either a) they are wrong or b) it is the early stages. _________________________ Sometimes you have to burn a few bridges to keep the crazies from following you.

My friend is just coming out of surgery and initial word from her son is that the tumor is non-cancerous! They are trying to keep him hydrated and watch his blood pressure.
