Brand new CRA officer ( crazy )

We are considering partnering with several credit counseling agencies by offering them the use of our branch and HQ facilities.

Does anyone do this? Do you have an introduction letter that you can share?

Has anyone partnered with the Community Investment Network or the National Community Reinvestment Coalition?

How did you get involved?

We lend our meeting rooms to a few non-profits but I don't have a letter.

Personally, I'd rather steer clear of the CRCs if you can. Sometimes you have no choice but I'd rather fly under their radar. I have heard that they can sort of strong arm banks into supporting/donating etc. to certain causes and if banks don't comply, the CRC writes derogatory comments to the regulator.

Of course I haven't experienced this first hand. Does anyone else have experience with a CRC??

Partner with the local credit counseling agencies. I am with the cute littel girl up there, just look at the list of board members for the national organization.
