I have been asked what is the income amount we report for business income as in net income, net profit, or income before taxes. I am and a little uncertain and maybe a little sleep deprived from Black Friday shopping. I have attempted to search this but having no luck and I have also printed the CRA guide since I really need to read up on all of the information to know more about CRA in general but thought maybe the income area could be answered quickly. Thanks!

When you say report, are you talking about reporting small business and small farm lending originations annually to the FFIEC? If that is the case, in the CRA world - Gross Annual Revenues are reported NOT Income. Do a search/query on revenues in the CRA forum. Other BOLers have set me straight on this recently, so there should be plenty of hits on "Revenues".

You code based on gross annual revenue (1 is gross annual revenue of $1million or less, 2 is > $1million).

Revenue is gross income/sales for the business.
