We are converting one acct type to a new acct type. On June 1 we will convert accts on July 1 the monthly service charge will increase by $1.

We are considering the following stmt message beginning May 1,

On June 1, 2011 your current account will convert to our new ________ account. One July 1, 2011 your monthly service charge will increase to $_______.

The only other changes to the new acct type are all beneficial to the consumer. Do we need to provide a new TISA disclosure to these folks?

Around mid-May we are sending marketing info out.

You have to provide a full account disclosure the the consumer clients moving to the new account or explain in detail to them exactly what will change (minimum balance to avoid service charge, interest rates/APYs, fees, etc.).

Personally, I would avoid hitting the same customers two consecutive months and handle all changes at one time. Most customer don't like change anyway.
