There might be a Harry reread in the near future. One of the guys here at work loaned me "What Einstein Said to his Cook." I haven't started it yet, but it looks entertaining.

I'm almost done with I Am Number Four, I watched the movie but hadnt heard of the book. A friend told me over the weekend that the book was better and that a second one was out.
I didnt make it to B&N this weekend, it's on my agenda for this week.

I didnt make it to B&N this weekend, it's on my agenda for this week. I was disappointed with the book, which surprised me because normally the books are always better. I was really bummed. I'm hesitant to pick up the second book, but if you do and like it, maybe I'll give it another shot.

I like the book so far, I've got about 10% left according to the kindle. I do find it a bit annoying that its written in the first person present tense, but not enough to not read the next book.

Yeah, there is something about the point of perspective that was throwing me. Maybe the second book is worth a shot... I'll have to check it out my library.

Sorry, I was out for a bit.
They are about a woman that becomes a bounty hunter for her cousin Vinnie out of desperation. She's learning as she goes. They're light, very funny and suspenseful. There are 17 in the series and I have read 4 in 2 weeks.
With three little kids I can't read anything too deep, too many interruptions.

I've read that series up until 12 or 13. I forget where I left off. I thought the writing quality - while by no means great literature to begin with - got bad. It was like the author stopped caring, or something.

My new favorite author is Andy Andrews, author of The Traveler's Gift and the follow up book The Final Summit.

Finished Envy by JR Ward last night. Not sure what is on the agenda next but I better think of something quick because tonight I have a date with my Kindle and my couch!

Finished Envy by JR Ward last night. Not sure what is on the agenda next but I better think of something quick because tonight I have a date with my Kindle and my couch! I had picked up a novella quartet called "Supernatural" with pieces from a couple of authors I like in it before starting Envy. Now that I've finished reading about Ward's hunky angels, I'll go back to that. Also downloaded a Lee Child "Reacher" short for $1.99 last night, so that will probably be next.

I'll have to check out Supernatural. I think I have a couple of unread books on my Kindle but I can't for the life of me remember what they are right now!

It was like the author stopped caring, or something. I'm only on five right now, so it's still pretty good. I have heard that before though, that I'm in the best ones right now. Oh well, entertaining for a bit.
