Where an exception notice is required, and we failed to provide it, is there a regulatory fix for this error? Is the best recourse to send the notice out after the fact?

I was just conducting a search on this exact question, Wonderofitall. I can't seem to find an type of error resolution to cure this error. My guess since the rule doesn't address it is to send it. Better late than never. Does anyone else have any other ideas of how we should handle when we failed to provide a notice to a customer?
