How do you code a loan which is greater than $1mm and is reportable as a Community Dev loan on your LAR? The CRA type code is 01 (small business) for this transaction. However, Q900 edit appears on exceptions report since loan is for over $1mm. How can I clear this edit?

I think you need to remove the CRA type 01 designation. Leave the loan type blank and see if that helps.

Removing the small business code will probably take care of the warning edit, but my question is why you are reporting individual CD loans. Don't we just report numbers and dollars in total on the submission ?

Each CD loan is entered and coded individually within our software. I'm not sure what kind of software Janice is using, but I think CD loans are entered and coded without a type code.

Centrax...when type code is deleted a v905 exception appears indicating invalid type code.

I code my CD loans as a 9, that way you don't get the errors and they are still included in the composite record.

There should be no error if you have entered code 1=yes in the community development field and entered a community development code.
