Did my pushups yesterday! I'm back on track. As long as my husband doesn't catch me and yell at me, I can do them on my knees.

Does anyone know of any other kind of exercises I can do without putting any weight on my right ankle? I had been in a good 6 month workout routine, and now I feel like [censored] since I can't run or do anything!

At home or at a gym? There are lots of good exercises you can do with out an ankle. Knee pushups you are doing. You can do the same with planks or do them with one leg up. Crunches are good. Get some power bands and you can do your entire upper body from a seated postion.... lots of good options.

Doce (Spanish for 12),

Although there are plenty of exercises you can accomplish without putting actual weight on your ankle, check with your doctor about how healing works if you get your heart rate up (increased blood flow, etc) with exercise in your upper body, etc.

With his/her blessing, go for it. Without it, take it easy and jump back on later.

Chillin an grillin
I've been a slacker over the weekend.

Now I'm making up for it today. smirk

Started with 14, second set was 17, third set was 16 and I will finish off with the 15 before bed tonight.

This will remind me not to forget to do them again!!

18 today.

I'm still doing them on my knees. But as the week changes I do the full pushup for that. So today I did 3 full pushups and 15 knee pushups. Those 3 felt pretty good, too. smile

Sets of 18, 18 and 16 this morning. I was sore going to bed and very sore waking up, so I'm happy with what I did. I'll put up one set of 16 tonight.

I'm getting very close to not being able to complete the total required in my first set. I'll "max" each day with my first set until I can no longer make it. While that will likely hinder the total sets I can do, it is my goal to make it to 25. I don't see 31 as a possibility at this point, but who knows.

I've ben able to keep up with the required number each day. I do mine on a balance ball though. Hoping to move it to my knees by end of the week. I have started to notice that I have muscles and some definition. It's awesome. Now if I could just dedicate myself to the running thing as much as I've dedicated myself to the push-ups, I might actually slim down some too!
