If you like german food you need to visit the small Germantown I live in here in Indiana. We have a huge German Festival every July that brings in thousands of people!! Great time, Great German food and German beer!!! I live right in the middle of town so prime parking!! - Not that it is a big town but hard to find parking anywhere that weekend!

So was the contest fun? That has to be totally challenging!

It was the most intimidating, frightening, horrifying, disturbing, painful - yet REWARDING EXPERIENCE I WOULD TOTALLY DO AGAIN!

It's not a race, and you don't have to catch up, so don't worry about that!

You have to ease into it and do enough to challenge yourself, but not overload yourself. Even if you skip January, you'll still make it up to 335/day by the end of the year. That's hardly an easy task!

Put up sets of 10, 24 and 19 today. It felt good all the way through. I got sore after I cooled down but that's beginning to subside. I held myself back from going for 25 in my 2nd set because I didn't want to overstrain the shoulder. 24 was rough and I could've gotten 25, but it wasn't worth it. Another day.

I think it's great that there are so many still accomplishing the whole day in one set. I'm very impressed.

OK, so I'm out of the push-up challenge. But I haven't exactly just quit. I did it up until Jan 29th when I started bootcamp classes. I've been good abotu goign to the classes and doing my hoem Zumba, which in the logn run, is better for me that the daily push-ups. But the challenge was a great way to get me on the right track and motivated to start he classes. Just to knwo I coudl do it and see the results in my muscles. I'm still doing some at home, but not every day or on the same schedule. Part of the reason is bootcamp kicks my butt and I am drained the day of, and then so sore I move funny the next day and a half laugh

Dip,

Quitter! smile

What you are doing is amazing. Keep us posted on your progress and keep pushing/taunting us. Bootcamp sounds like it is something that you will both enjoy and benefit from. Keep after it.

I am out clubbing and dancing 3 nights a week. Do you have a bootcamp for me?

I also like Zumba. But at my age, these pushups were taking all day after January.

So I am with Dpi.

Hahaha...no, it's liek hardcore circuit training. I'm adding a lunch class during the week, first one is today. So I'll spend the second half of every Wednesday looking liek he!!. On the bright side, my finace is goign to do it with me on Wednesdays smile

I liek this kind of class because it literally works your whoel body and includes core training. I think tha't s why it kills me the day after...my ENTIRE body is sore, ESPECIALLY my core. I think I have a harder time with the core stuff because my torso is so long but thin. Some of the core thigns are really hard on my back. I do them, btu my muscles freak out and I'm a shakey mess whiel I do them grin
