Is umemployment compensation exempt from a garnishment? The statue says "the debtor carries the burden of proof in showing the funds are exempt." But then goes on to state "that exempt funds when deposited in a bank account shall continue to be exempt from levy and execution." So I am a bit confused as how to proceed.
